LED
Lighting
Light-Emitting Diode (or LED) bulbs last about 100
times longer than incandescent bulbs, plus they’re
more durable, energy efficient, and cool to the touch.
They’re more expensive than both incandescent
and CFL bulbs, but since they use 1/30th to 1/3rd of
the energy of those bubs and last about 60,000 hours,
they’ll soon pay for themselves and can ultimately
represent a savings of 90 over standard lighting. LED
light bulbs fit all standard lighting fixtures and
are available in wattages from 0.85 to 7.3.
