IceCOLD® is a breakthrough, non-toxic synthetic solution that increases
the efficiency of your preexisting cooling system. Simply adding to your cooling
system's refrigerant can save an average of 23% on your electricity costs,
making it a superior product for bolstering the green efforts of homeowners
and developers alike.
Pays for itself in under a year!
In virtually all air conditioning and refrigeration systems, 1/2% to 8% of
the compressor's lubricating oil circulates with the refrigerant; this oil
attaches to the inner walls of the refrigeration tubing and acts as an effective
heat insulator but can also lead to oil fouling, which can cause a loss of
about 7% efficiency the first year, 5% the second year, and 2% per year until
it peaks somewhere between 20% and 30%.
IceCOLD® acts as a catalyst to remove and eliminates the formation of oil
fouling on the inner tube walls in your refrigeration system without facilitating
chemical change to the the refrigerant or the compressor oil. By eliminating
oil fouling, ice cold minimizes the insulating effect on the heat exchange
between the refrigerant and the heat exchange tubes as well as the air to be
cooled, thus increasing your cold air output.
Further, IceCOLD® also contains a synthetic catalyst that causes the refrigerant
to boil at a lower temperature, further increasing equipment efficiency as
well as the savings on annual equipment maintenance and up to 20%.
Put Your Fears To Rest. Unlike All
The Others, IceCOLD™ Is One Of A Kind
It is NOT a purchased package from an additive supplier
It is NOT just a lubricant
like most others
It is NOT toxic
It does NOT have any EPA disposal problems
It does NOT have ingredients that damage the ozone
layer
It does NOT contain any form of a chlorine/ chlorinated
compound, sulfur/ sulfanated compounds (like other
after-market additives.)
It does NOT break down into chlorine acids after
1 to 4 years
It does NOT void equipment warranty
It does NOT contain any solids, such as graphite,
PTFE (Teflontm) or Molybdenum disulfide (Moly)
It is NOT an overbalanced TBN component (total base
number) such as a calcium product (Nu-Calgon Zerol
Ice®)
It is NOT incompatible with modern synthetic compressor
oils as mineral oil based refrigerant additives (the
others) are
