Columbus applications offer complete management and
analysis of your energy or lighting systems as well
as other critical systems that are part of your facility
infrastructure. For example, their facility navigator
(FN) contains powerful diagnostic capabilities and
an integrated view of online (via Scada and similar
systems) and offline infrastructure elements and the
mapping of real connectivity between objects in your
system architecture.
Columbus’ solutions are used in hospitals, university
campuses, military forces, airports and commercial
buildings worldwide.
Energy Applications
Columbus’ Electricity Management Module in their
Facility Navigator allows organizations with multiple
sites and complex infrastructure systems to have a
comprehensive understanding of their power and lighting
systems.
The Electricity Management Module allows technical
staff to understand the exact layout of all entities
comprising the facility’s power and lighting
systems. It allows the definition of components comprising
the electrical backbone in a building, including switches,
distribution panels, circuit breaker panels and lighting.
A better understanding of how to manage these energy
systems can lead reduced energy consumption and costs.
